The dog days of summer are hitting their full stride, and before you know it, all over the country there will be an ever-so-slight bite to the air as the smoke from burning leaves intermingles with the smoke emanating from tailgaters’ grills in anticipation of that oh-so-American pastime.

Known as the Egg Bowl, this annual matchup will take place on Thanksgiving this year, for the first time since 2003. What does that mean for you? Well, it means that if you want to skip out on family time because you know you’re going to see those yahoos in just a few weeks over the Christmas holidays, then this is your chance!
